Keeping up the French-Anglo relationships

Our club ride in the 2011 No Budget Cup season unfortunately blew it's main output shaft bearing during Round-4 and with it destroyed most of the engine. For the last race of the 2011 season we swapped our first race bike engine (French unit) back into the (UK) frame. Along came the entire wiring loom as well as the 1997-98 engines and wiring looms are different. We also swapped all the best bits from the old bike to the new one, thus making the best of both worlds.

We definitely noticed the improvement in engine performance at the last race, successfully posting our best ever times around Zolder.

This then is the OMCC challenger for the 2012 series.

Over winter we hope to finally cure the weeping front forks and give it a bit of TLC ready for an assault on the European championship.

Over in the orange corner, Ian, Ben and Shelly have acquired a GSXR600K1 for their main bike. Some members may recognise it, as it used to belong to Colin Raeside. Col - you'd better look away now!!
