The No Budget Cup Endurance race series is open to all club members and is a not-so-expensive way to get into racing or perhaps rekindle a previous interest in competitive riding - with the emphasis on having fun first, and finishing!!

Check out our previous history in the series by reading our race reports, see the circuits we ride at and the bike (or bikes) we're on!

Looking forward to the 2012 series OMCC will be sponsoring two teams.

The first team is OMCC's own 'Factory' team, headed by Loon, which will continue to provide the thrills and spills to club members who fancy dipping their toe into the murky waters of racing! Any number of the European rounds await this team, riding the trusty SRAD 600.

They will be abley supported by the second team, @bluecoqracing, consisting of Ian, Ben and Shelly. Having competed in the last two series they have now bought their own race bike for a full-on assault on the European championship and will be showing the newcomers the ropes.

Don't forget to follow their adventures on Twitter @omccracing

2012 Dates

The dates for the forthcoming series are available from the Race-Report section.

Participation

To have a go at this endurance series with OMCC please contact Ian Davidson, Ben Smith or Chris Hollis. Club members who participate in the actual racing will first have to undergo a safety evaluation by either of the above, just to ensure that you won't be a danger to yourself or others under race conditions.

If you wish to come along to any of the races to spectate or participate as pit-crew for the day, get in touch with Ian or Loon. We will probably be able to share with you transport costs (as we will be going anyway!).

Pete Nicholl is also looking to organise track day time around the days racing. Watch the forum for info on that!!
