How you can request deletion of your information
At any time you may request deletion of your information that is held by OMCC. This can be done in one of two ways.
The simplest method is to head to your OMCC Profile page and clicking the 'Delete My OMCC Account' button. This will set in motion your OMCC Account removal and termination of OMCC Membership.

If your online profile contains an email address you will receive a confirmation email that your data has been deleted. This communication will be copied to OMCC and we will retain a copy of that email as evidence that we have processed your deletion request.
Alternatively you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please include some personal information such as name, address and phone number for easy identification. We may contact you to confirm your details to ensure we treat your data correctly.
Removal of the data from the database will terminate your membership of OMCC. If you wished to renew the membership after that time, even within the same calendar year, it will be treated as a new membership request. No refund will be given for any outstanding months of remaining membership for any given year.
Deletion of your account will immediately terminate your annual membership with OMCC.
There is no refund of the annual membership fee regardless of when it was paid and when the deletion request is made.
You will be immediately removed from any current or future event that you have paid for.
There is no refund of costs for any such event once you initiate the removal of your OMCC Account.
You may sign up for a new OMCC membership at any time.

OMCC Web-site Use and Cookies Policy
A new law on cookies demands that you, as a website user, are given the opportunity to understand how cookies are used on our websites and consent to cookies being stored on your computer (laptop/mobile/tablet).
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file, typically of letters and numbers, downloaded to your computer when you access websites. Typically, they contain the following information: a site name and unique user ID, the duration of the cookie's abilities and effects, and a random number. As a rule, cookies cannot be used to reveal your identity or personally identifying information.
Generally, the role of cookies is beneficial, making your interaction with frequently-visited sites smoother with no extra effort on your part. Without cookies, online shopping would be much harder. Without cookies, some websites will become less interactive with the cookie option turned off.
Most common cookies
These cookies expire when you close your web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome). These cookies are used for various reasons, for example, remembering what you have put in your shopping basket as you browse a website. They can also be used for security to access your Internet banking or email.
These cookies are still stored on your computer after you have closed your web browser which allows your preferences on websites to be remembered. These cookies are used for a variety of purposes, for example, remembering your preferences on a website (your language choice or your user name on a particular website).
First and Third Party cookies
This refers to the website placing the cookie. First party cookies are cookies set by the website you are visiting. Third party cookies are set by another website; the website you are visiting may have advertising on the page and this other website will be able to set a cookie on your computer. Third party cookies on the main web browsers allow third party cookies by default. Changing the settings on your browsers can prevent this.
There are some exemptions to the above where it is essential for a website to store information on your computer, for example, to provide a service to you that you have requested.
What is the purpose of cookies?
Cookies allow omcc.co.uk to remember actions that you have performed on the site, your preferences and the pages you have visited. It also tells the site that you have returned. The benefits of this are:
- You can browse the site faster and more easily.
- We can understand how you use our website, e.g. the pages you visit and the links you click. This tells us what you're interested in and helps us improve the site.
Why should I keep cookies switched on?
- Internal cookies only last for the duration of your visit (your ‘session').
- They allow us to identify that you are moving from page to page. This means we can, for example, keep you logged in as you browse the site.
External and Third Party Cookies
- External and third party cookies allow you to connect with third party websites, such as Facebook and Twitter while you browse the site, so you can share content that you find interesting via your social networks.
- They also enable us to use Google Analytics to track which pages you visit and ensure we produce content you're interested in. How Google uses the data when you use our website may be found here (https://policies.google.com/privacy/partners?hl=en-GB&gl=uk ). You may disable the Google Analytics function by means of a browser add-on to ensure the prevention of the sending of any analytical information to Google.

OMCC Events Policy
The following shall apply for all club run events including, but not limited to, ARDs, european trips, OffRoad, Mopedathon, UK and European Track days.
1. Cancellations / Refunds.
All refunds on all events are subject to a £10 administration fee (due to PayPal and admin fees). There will be no automatic right to a refund within 30 days of an OMCC event. Within the 30-day period, refunds will be at the discretion of the OMCC Committee providing you use the Refund Request facility in the User Account area on this website MyAccount EVENTS. No other mechanism of notification is acceptable. This includes any posting on the club forum.
Within 30-days of an event you may, at the committee's discretion, be entitled to a full refund less the £10 administration fee.
Within 21-days of an event you may, at the committee's discretion, be entitled to 50% of the fees paid less the £10 administration fee if there is a reserve list in place and a member can fill your place.
Within 14-days of an event you will not be entitled to a refund.
If you terminate your club membership ahead of an event you will not be entitled to a refund.
Entry lists for most events will be closed 14-days prior to the event date. In the event of a participant cancellation during this 14-day period, this place will not be opened up to other club members.
2. Reserve Lists & Placement Transfers
OMCC operate a strict reserve list procedure to ensure a fair method of placement management for its members and events. Placements are NOT transferable by any other means and attempts to do so will not be tolerated. This includes posting on the forum, or via other social media platform. The Committee reserve the right to refuse membership and entry to an event for any persons who do not adhere to these terms.
The weather is outside of the control of the OMCC Committee. The OMCC Committee will ensure that any event will only proceed if the weather is suitable and conditions are safe. As OMCC is run as a club and not for profit, refunds will not be given for an event where the weather has precluded activities.
Only participants who hold avalid, full Category-A motorcycle license are permitted to ride at any OMCC event.
5. Bike Suitability
Participants are responsible for ensuring that if they are using their own machine for an event, it is mechanically suitable for the event. Should the OMCC Committee deem that the machine is not mechanically suitable for the event, the OMCC Committee reserve the right to exclude the use of the machine for the event. In such cases, the participant forfeits any right to a refund.
Should the OMCC Committee deem that an individual's behaviour is contrary to the aims and spirit of the event, the OMCC Committee reserve the right to exclude the participant from the event, without any right to a refund.
Any personal event subsidy has to be claimed from the OMCC Committee within one month from the date of that event/activity.
8. Event Payment
Payment for all club events must be made in advance.
9. Event Payment Issues
Please send any issues about the website, the club members area or club forum or report any problems to our webmaster. Please bear in mind that there will be a delay when answering your request as we all have a job in the real World too. If this delays or prevents you from subscribing to an OMCC event that subsequently sells out, that is outside of our control.
10. Loss of Track Time.
The OMCC Committee are not responsible for loss of track time due to circumstances outside of their control.
Acceptance of the OMCC Terms & Conditions
By using this site, by subscribing as a member, by using the forum and/or purchasing a place on or at an OMCC Club Event you signify your consent to the club's Terms and Conditions as detailed above. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use this site, do not become a member and do not use the forum.
